Israeli tanks in the heart of Gaza, destruction in residential areas

Israeli infantry forces have entered almost the center of Gaza City. They are waging a fierce onslaught with tanks in residential areas. The operation began on the second day of Israel’s ground offensive to capture Gaza City. The British news agency Reuters reported this information on Wednesday (September 17).
Local residents and witnesses in Gaza said that dozens of Israeli tanks and military vehicles had entered one of the main residential areas of the city.
A video footage shows tanks, bulldozers and armored vehicles advancing through the Sheikh Radwan area in northern Gaza. At this time, thick smoke is also seen spreading to prevent their progress. It is worth noting that the area is one of the most densely populated areas in the city. Thousands of people lived here before the war began.
The report also said that Israeli forces have recently intensified attacks on all areas of Gaza. At least 83 people have been killed across the Strip in the past 24 hours, including 61 in Gaza City.
Earlier, the IDF struck more than 150 targets in Gaza City in the past two days. Bombs and shelling also targeted hospitals. During this time, Israeli forces inflicted horrific damage on Al Shifa and Al Ahli hospitals, considered the last lifeline for the people of Gaza suffering from the occupation and famine. 19 people were killed in the two hospitals. It is noteworthy that the death toll in the two-year-long occupation of Gaza has exceeded 65,000.
