Israeli reservist dies of self-inflicted gunshot

A reservist Israeli soldier has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was accidentally shot by an IDF member. The incident occurred in southern Gaza on Saturday (August 30). The Israeli media outlet The Times of Israel confirmed the incident in a report. The deceased Israeli soldier has been identified as Ariel Lublinar. He was serving as a sergeant first class in the Israel Defense Forces. Authorities are investigating his death. The report noted that Ariel Lublinar had immigrated to Israel from Brazil 10 years ago. With this, the number of Israeli soldiers killed since the start of the Gaza offensive has reached 900 and the number of injured has exceeded several thousand.
