Russian missiles roar in the Sea of Japan!
Amid Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine, Russia has shown its strength in the Sea of Japan. As part of a naval exercise, Russian soldiers fired missiles one after another from a warship on Thursday (August 21).The Russian Defense Ministry said that Kalibr cruise missiles and Uran missiles were fired from the Marshal Shaposhnikov warship. Russia claims that the missiles are capable of playing an effective role in destroying enemy ships. The country also claims to have accurately hit targets in the exercise. Various ships, aircraft and drones of the Navy also participated in the exercise. Earlier, the Russian fleet’s warship ‘Marshal Shaposhnikov’ left the port of Vladivostok. Russia also conducted military exercises this time amid the exercises of the United States and its allies in the Sea of Japan. However, Japan has recently been talking about taking various steps to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons. The possibility of a review of the country’s “three non-nuclear policies” has also increased. Meanwhile, Japan has long pledged not to manufacture, store or deploy nuclear weapons on its territory. In this situation, many believe that Russia’s military exercises in the Sea of Japan could create new tensions.
