Army Chief leaves for China on official visit

Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman has left for China on an official visit. This information was given in a press release of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday (August 21). The release said that Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman has left for China on an official visit today (August 21). During the visit, the Army Chief will hold courtesy calls with high-ranking military and civilian officials of China and exchange views with a view to developing bilateral cooperation related to the military. After the visit, the Army Chief will return to Bangladesh on August 27.
