175 Bangladeshis return from Libya

175 Bangladeshis returned home from the Ganfuda Detention Center in Benghazi, Libya, on Thursday (August 21) morning with the assistance of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). A concerned official confirmed the information about their return to the country. He said that 175 people returned to the country from Libya on a Buraq Airlines flight. After returning home, they were received by officials of the International Organization for Migration at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. On Wednesday (August 20), the Bangladesh Embassy in Tripoli said that 175 Bangladeshis were repatriated to the country from the Ganfuda Detention Center in Benghazi on August 20 with the assistance of IOM.
