Fire breaks out in seven-storey slum in Mohakhali, 11 units under control

A terrible fire broke out in the seven-storey slum of Mohakhali in the capital. The fire was reported shortly before 3 pm on Wednesday (August 20). Three fire service units immediately reached the spot after receiving the news. It is learnt that 8 more units have left for the accident site from Tejgaon to put out the fire. No casualties have been reported in the incident so far. No one in charge could tell the cause of the fire. However, it is learnt that the units are delaying reaching the spot due to traffic jams on the road.
