Delhi Chief Minister attacked at her home during a public hearing
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was attacked at her home during a public hearing in the Indian capital New Delhi. The attacker has already been arrested. However, the police have started questioning to find out the exact reason for the attack. The accused is named Rajesh Khimji. He is a resident of Rajkot, Gujarat. It is learned that the attack took place at Rekha Gupta’s residence during a ‘public hearing’ event. While Rekha Gupta was talking to everyone present during the event, the accused approached her and pulled the Chief Minister’s hand. He even tried to ‘slap’ her. There are also allegations that stones were pelted at the Chief Minister. After the incident, the police arrested the accused red-handed. He has been taken to Delhi’s Civil Lines police station. The attack on the Delhi Chief Minister has once again raised concerns about the security of the country’s capital. Rekha Gupta suffered injuries during the attack. She is currently undergoing treatment at home. The BJP has blamed the opposition for the attack on the Delhi Chief Minister. On the other hand, the Congress has also strongly condemned the incident.
