Voting will not be stopped by threats: Dr. Zahid

BNP Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain has warned that the election campaign cannot be stopped by threats. He gave this warning after paying homage to the tomb of BNP founder late President Ziaur Rahman at Zia Udyan in the capital on Wednesday (August 13) morning with the newly elected DAB leaders. Speaking to reporters at the time, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said that some are warning that the election will not be held. The footsteps of dictatorship can be heard through such statements. He also said that those who want to disrupt the election by threats do not think about the people. The Awami League government fell not because of the movement of a single group, but because of the movement of the united students and the public.
