Chief Advisor awarded doctorate degree Kebangsaan University, Malaysia
Kebangsaan University, Malaysia, has awarded an honorary doctorate degree to Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus. The degree was conferred at a ceremony held at Kebangsaan University campus on Wednesday (August 13) morning. In a commemorative speech to the students of the university, Chief Advisor Professor Yunus said that the youth-led mass uprising in July-August 2024 has given new meaning to the hope for the future of Bangladesh. The government is working hard to hold a free, fair and transparent election in February 2026. So that power can be transferred to the true representatives of the people. He also said that the government is working for the peace and stability of the country. At this time, the Chief Advisor said that the main goal of the interim government is reform and the formation of a new Bangladesh.
