Gazipur BNP leader files case against Sarjis

A case has been filed in the Gazipur CMM Court against NCP leader Sarjis Alam on charges of spreading false information about the murder of journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin. On Tuesday (August 12), Bason Thana BNP president Tanvir Siraj filed this defamation case in the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court. After the hearing, the court took cognizance of the case and ordered the CID to investigate. Plaintiff Tanvir Siraj said that Sarjis Alam unknowingly spread false information about the murder of journalist Tuhin by making a video of a criminal gang. This has tarnished the image of the party. Therefore, the case has been filed as per the party’s instructions. The lawyer in the case, Advocate Siddiqur Rahman, said that after hearing the case, the judge has ordered the CID to investigate. Sarjis has spread such false information about the BNP several times. The matter has hurt the minds of the party workers.
