Businessman dies in Natore CNG truck-truck collision

A businessman named Mujibur Rahman was killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a CNG in Natore. The accident occurred in the Bora Harishpur bus stand area of the city on Thursday (July 31) morning. The deceased Mujibur is the son of the deceased Shukur Ali of Atgharia village in Sadar upazila. He is a raw material trader by profession. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jhalmalia Highway Police Station Mahbur Rahman said that Mujibur Rahman was going to Station Bazar to buy raw materials in a CNG this morning. On the way, the CNG collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction in the Bora Harishpur bus stand area. Mujibur Rahman was seriously injured in this. He also said that later, upon receiving information, police and fire service members rescued him and took him to Sadar Hospital. From there, he died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. Legal action is being taken in the incident.
