Five arrested in attack on Hindu neighborhood in Rangpur

Five people have been arrested in connection with the attack on a Hindu family in Aldadpur Balapara village of Betgari union in Gangachara upazila of Rangpur on charges of insulting religion. In this incident, Rabindranath Roy (55), father: Debendra Nath Roy, village-Aldadpur Chayani Para, Thana: Gangachara, District: Rangpur filed a complaint against 1000-1200 unknown people as the plaintiff, and Gangachara Model Police Station Case No. 35, dated 29/07/25, Sections: 149/447/448/332/333/ 353/379/380/427/34 Penal Code was registered. Five people have already been arrested in a joint operation in this case.
