Fakhrul urges not to exaggerate the weaknesses of the interim government

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has urged not to exaggerate the weaknesses of the interim government. He said that this government will have flaws, that is natural. However, instead of exaggerating this weakness, their goodwill should be exaggerated. I do not see the government’s lack of sincerity regarding the elections. He said these things in response to questions from journalists after a meeting with the Bangladesh Nationalist Minority Ethnic Party at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan on Wednesday (July 23) afternoon. He said that BNP is committed to the elections in February. Fascist forces are rising from the evil attempt to sabotage the elections. Regarding the plane crash at Milestone School in Uttara, Mirza Fakhrul said, “Many young lives were lost in the plane crash. I myself went to see it. We expressed our regret and condolences. In the situation that arose, two advisors were blocked at Milestone School. Students entered the secretariat due to exam-related complications, which everyone thought was an administrative complication. The situation created by the fascist forces in Gopalganj a few days ago seemed like a sign of their rise. He said, the chief advisor called us suddenly. He calls us sometimes when the government is in a crisis. We go because we are committed to cooperating with this government. We will do whatever is necessary to restore democracy. However, we think it would be better if this exchange of views were more frequent. This BNP leader said, for this, he (the chief advisor) said that the political parties had protested against the fascists, he called them all for discussions. We discussed it there. We think that the election process should be expedited, the measures he promised during the election ceremony between February and March should be taken quickly and he said that he would take those measures. Politics means a battle of words, that is the beauty of democracy, commented Mirza Fakhrul. He said that the Gopalganj conflict was also discussed. This July, fascist forces are rising with renewed vigor.
