Russia launches 300 drones and missiles in Ukraine overnight

Tensions are rising on the Russia-Ukraine frontline due to reciprocal attacks. Russia fired more than 300 drones and missiles at Ukrainian cities overnight. Multiple facilities, including clinics and schools, were damaged in missile attacks in the Dnipro-Petro-Vsk region. Two people were killed in the attack. At least one person was killed in a missile strike in the Black Sea port city of Odessa. Six children were also injured. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Moscow had also attacked a military airbase in Ukraine. However, he also claimed that it had been repelled. The Russian attack damaged important infrastructure in the Sumy region. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed to have destroyed 40 Ukrainian drones on Sunday (July 20) local time.
