Rohingya camp head fisherman hacked to death
The head fisherman of Rohingya Camp-20 in Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar was hacked to death by unknown terrorists. However, it is believed that this incident was carried out by the armed terrorist group ARSA.
The tragic incident took place at around 9:30 pm on Tuesday in the M/32 block of Rohingya Camp-20.
The deceased head fisherman Mohammad Noor (25) is the son of Abu Syed, a resident of the camp.
It is learned that the head fisherman Mohammad Noor (25) was hacked to death by unknown terrorists in his own block and left on the road and fled.
Later, other Rohingyas from the same camp saw him lying on the road in a state of blood while returning home after Tarawih prayers and informed the police.
On receiving the information, the patrol team of 14 APBN Walapalong Police Camp recovered the body of the deceased. It is also known that the investigation is currently underway.
Ukhia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Arif Hossain confirmed the matter and said that legal action has been taken after the body of the deceased was recovered. It has not been possible to arrest anyone involved in the incident. The situation is currently normal.
