What Bangladesh’s XI could look like today

Bangladesh has lost to New Zealand after India in the Champions Trophy. However, Pakistan has also been defeated by the Tigers. Nevertheless, the two teams will face each other in the group stage today, Thursday, in a match of rules.

Although it is a match of rules, there may be a change in the Tigers’ XI in this match. Mushfiqur Rahim has not scored runs with the bat in the last two matches. He may be dropped from the team against Pakistan due to his failure in two consecutive matches. As a result, opener Soumya Sarkar may be brought back to the XI in his place.

Captain Shanto may return to the number three. Miraj will be seen at number four. Mahmudullah Riyad will play his last match of the ICC event. Taskin Ahmed, Nahid Rana and Mustafizur Rahman will remain as the three pacers as usual.

However, the weather is not favorable before this match. Both Bangladesh and Pakistan teams have to look to the sky in Rawalpindi. There has been heavy rainfall in Rawalpindi for some time now. The probability of rainfall today is 88 percent. Whether Bangladesh will be seen on the field in the last match of the tournament or not is also a big question.

Bangladesh’s probable playing XI: Soumya Sarkar, Tanjid Hasan Tamim, Nazmul Hossain Shanto (captain), Mehedi Hasan Miraj, Towhid Hridoy, Mahmudullah Riyad, Zaker Ali Anik, Rishad Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Nahid Rana, and Mostafizur Rahman.
