Home Affairs Advisor makes surprise inspection of police patrol activities in the early morning
Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has made a surprise inspection of police patrol activities in order to maintain law and order in the Dhaka metropolitan area.
Early this morning, Wednesday, he inspected the activities of the check posts or search posts set up by the police and other law enforcement agencies at various important points and intersections in the capital, and several police stations.
The Home Ministry said that the advisor left his DOHS house in Baridhara and visited New Market Police Station via Banani More, Bijoy Sarani (Novotheater), Manik Mia Avenue, Kalabagan, Eden College. Later, from New Market Police Station, he visited Shahbag More, Matsya Bhaban, Moghbazar, Hatirjheel, Police Plaza and Gulshan Police Station.
After the inspection, the Home Affairs Advisor returned to his Baridhara house via United Hospital from Gulshan Police Station. On the way, he also visited some of the surrounding alleys.
During the inspection, the advisor spoke to the law enforcement officers on duty at the police station and check post and gave them necessary directions. At the same time, he also directed the security forces to be on maximum alert to maintain law and order across the country, including the capital.
