How much money did Barisal get for winning the title?
Fortune Barisal won the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) title for the second time in a row by beating Chittagong Kings. Tamim Iqbal’s team won by 3 wickets in the final. However, Chittagong Kings, who played in the final in 2013, were once again heartbroken.
Batting first at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium on Friday, Chittagong scored 194 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Barisal secured the victory with 3 balls and 3 wickets in hand. This is the first time that they have won by chasing so many runs in the BPL final.
A total of 5.31 crore taka was awarded on the closing day of the BPL. Which is 2.3 crore taka more than the last season.

Man of the Final – Tamim Iqbal won the award for the best cricketer of the final with a stormy fifty against a big target. He received 5 million taka along with the trophy.
Man of the Tournament – Khulna Tigers captain Mehedi Hasan Miraj won the award for the best cricketer of this season of BPL with 355 runs in 14 innings with the bat and 13 wickets with the bowling. He received a cash prize of 10 million taka.
Emerging Player of the Tournament – Tanjid Hasan was excellent with the bat for Dhaka Capitals, who were eliminated in the first round, throughout the tournament. He won the first Emerging Player of the Tournament award of BPL by scoring 485 runs with four fifties in 12 innings. He received 3 lakh taka along with the trophy.
Best Batsman of the Tournament – Mohammad Naeem Sheikh, who scored 511 runs with three fifties and a century in an excellent batting throughout the tournament, won the best batsman award. He received a cash prize of 5 lakh taka.
Best Bowler of the Tournament – Taskin Ahmed won the best bowler award this time by taking 25 wickets in 12 innings in a record-breaking tournament. Like Naeem, he also received 5 lakh taka.
Best Fielder of the Tournament – Mushfiqur Rahim won the best fielder award after taking 12 catches and 2 stumpings behind the wicket throughout the tournament. He received 3 lakh taka.
