There is no tension on the India-Bangladesh border now and the situation is fairly normal, said Home Affairs Advisor Lt. Gen. (retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury. He said, “They (BSF) are no longer building barbed wire fences, the situation is stable. We have said that there is a meeting at the DG level of BGB and BSF next month, where these issues will be discussed.”

The dealers who are involved in these things will also have their dealerships closed from next month. They will not be given any concessions under any circumstances. I want to assure the farmers that they are the lifeblood of the country, they will definitely get fertilizer and they will get it at a fair price.”
