Sheikh Hasina’s APS Liku aide Sohag arrested.

Accused in several murder cases of the student movement and close associate of APS Hafizur Rahman Liku, a political secretary to Sheikh Hasina, Anisur Rahman Sohag has been arrested through a drive by Dhaka Metropolitan Police on Monday night. Anisur Rahman Sohag has been arrested as an accused in a murder case of Paltan Police Station.

It has been learnt that Anisur Rahman Sohag had a good rapport with former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s APS Hafizur Rahman Liku, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Amir Hossain Amu. He has earned illegally crores of taka using that influence.

It is alleged that apart from maintaining all the illegal assets of Hafizur Rahman Liku, cash is also deposited with Sohag. Besides, there are allegations against him of multiple frauds including certificate forgery.
