Crowds gather at lawyer Saiful Alam’s funeral.
Thousands of people attended the funeral of lawyer Saiful Alam, who was killed in the clash.
The funeral was held at the city’s Jamiatul Falah National Mosque at 11:30 am on Wednesday (November 27).
Later, the devotees took out a protest procession. The procession started from Jamiatul Falah and circled various roads of the city.
Land Advisor AF Hasan Arif, Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Dr. Shahdat Hossain, Jamaat-e-Islami Chittagong Metropolitan City Ameer Shahjahan Chowdhury, Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Coordinator Hasnat Abdullah, Sarjis Alam, Russell Ahmed, Co-Coordinator Talat Mahmud Rafi and others participated in it.
Earlier, the first funeral was held in the court building premises.
