Hafez Muaz of Bangladesh won the first place in Quran competition in Turkey
Bangladesh’s Hafez Muaz Mahmud won the first place in the 9th International Hifzul Quran Competition held in Turkey. He received the honor crest and award from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan yesterday local time in Bad Zohar.
Incidentally, this is the first time since 2016 that Bangladesh won the first place in Turkey’s International Hifzul Quran Competition.
However, before this, on March 28, the preliminary round of the competition was held under the supervision of the Islamic Foundation at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram. He won the first place behind hundreds of talented Hafez of the country. In that context, Türkiye was also selected as the sole representative of Bangladesh for the International Hifzul Quran Competition.
Moreover, Bangladesh won first place among 123 countries in the 44th International Quran Competition in Makkah on August 21 this year. At that time too, Hafeez Muaz Mahmood won the first position in the 15-para group.
Last year i.e. 2023, Hafez Muaz Mahmood participated in Nahbemir Jamaat in 46th Central Befaq Examination and obtained merit list.
It should be noted that Hafez Muaz is a student of Markazu Faizil Quran Al Islami, Book Department, Dhaka, located in Mirpur-1, Dhaka. He became Hafez from this Madrasa. Now studying in book department.
Incidentally, in 2014 Markazu Faizil started Quran Al Islami Yatra. Already, the students of this madrasa have been able to mark success in various international Hefjul Quran competitions in the country and abroad. The founder director of this madrasa is Khatib Hafeez Maulana Mufti Murtaza Hasan Faizi Masum of Gulshan Society Jame Masjid.
