    The government canceled the press accreditation cards of 20 Awami League supporter journalists

    The Directorate of Information canceled the press accreditation cards of 20 journalists. These journalists whose press accreditation card has been canceled are known as Awami League supporters.

    A letter has been sent to the concerned parties canceling their cards on Tuesday. It was signed by Chief Information Officer (ongoing duty). Nizamul Kabir.

    According to the letter, the permanent and temporary press accreditation cards previously issued by the Directorate of Information in favor of these journalists and individuals have been canceled in the light of the articles 6.9, 6.10, 9.5 and 9.6 of the Press Accreditation Policy.

    The journalists whose cards have been canceled are former Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) DG Zafar Wazed, former New Delhi Press Minister Shaban Mahmood, Ekatar TV Editor-in-Chief Mozammel Haque Babu, Head of News Shakeel Ahmed, Special Correspondent Farzana Rupa, WomenNews24.com Editor and Publisher Farida Yasmin. , Editor of The Daily Observer Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Editor of Bhorer Paper Shyamal Dutta, Editor of Bangladesh Pratidin Naeem Nizam, Chief Editor of ABNews24.com Subhas Chandra Singh Roy.

    The list also includes Chief Editor of Bangla Insider Syed Borhan Kabir, Munni Saha of Ek Takka Khabar, Emeritus Editor of Us Time.com Naeemul Islam Khan, Special Correspondent of Dainik Bangla Faraji Ajmal Hossain, Editor of Dainik Dhaka Times Mohammad Arifur Rahman, Former Managing Director and Head of Bus.
