Replica of Aynaghar should be built at Ganabhaban Museum: Chief Adviser
The chief advisor of the interim government said that a replica of the ‘Aynaghar’ should be built in the memorial museum of the July People’s Uprising to be built in Ganabhaban. Muhammad Yunus. He said this when he went to Ganobhaban to see the process of setting up the museum on Monday.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, ‘A replica of the Aynaghar should be constructed in the Ganabhaban museum, where Sheikh Hasina used to secretly detain hundreds of dissidents and opposition leaders. The mirror will remind the visitors of the suffering of those prisoners.’
At this time, the chief advisor asked the advisors present to consult with experts about the museum. He ordered to finalize the proposal for the construction of the museum by next December.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, “The memory of Sheikh Hasina’s regime will be preserved in the Ganabhaban museum and the expression of people’s anger against her will emerge.”
At that time, Nahid Islam, adviser to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, said, “The image of corruption that started in 2009 during the regime of Sheikh Hasina will be preserved in this museum.”
He said they are consulting with experts from other countries, countries that have preserved the memories of their revolutions and uprisings.
Adilur Rahman Khan, Advisor of Housing and Public Works Ministry, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Advisor of Youth and Sports Ministry, Mahfuz Alam, Special Assistant to Chief Advisor were also present at this time.
