Israelis do not want to live in Gaza

Most Israeli residents of illegal settlements do not want to live in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Such information emerged in a survey conducted by Israel’s state broadcaster.

In the survey of nearly 600,000 Israelis, only 14 percent expressed interest in living in Gaza. The poll found that only 27 percent of Israelis think they have won against Hamas. And 35 percent think they lost.

On October 7 last year, Hamas, the armed organization of the Palestinian liberation movement, fired thousands of rockets at Israel from the besieged Gaza Strip. 1,400 people were killed in Israel. After years of oppression in the besieged Gaza Strip, the Israeli forces intensified.

More than 40,000 Palestinians have lost their lives and more than 90,000 have been injured in the military operation since that day. Most of the casualties were civilians. In such a situation, a ceasefire is being called around the world.
