World Bank to make Bangladesh a $3 billion platform in three years

Johannes Jutt, the newly appointed World Bank Vice President for South Asia, with Principal Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. He said, “If Bangladesh moves forward, the whole of Asia will move forward. If we continue, we will not move forward. We need to improve our international organizations and systems. We have an important economy. He further said, ‘Most countries need young people. We have told them, I have brought your industry here. We will only give so that Bangladesh can rise to the center.’ Praising the role of teacher Yunus in women empowerment, the World Bank Vice President said, ‘We will keep you in mind. Scholarships for politics were started with the help of the World Bank, which is now being followed by other countries. We are ready to provide facilities for the youth.’ Jutt mentioned that last year the World Bank provided more than $3 billion in financing and promised us similar assistance on July 3.
