Women’s working hours will be reduced if in power: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has assured that women’s working hours will be reduced if in power. He alleged that his party will lock women’s houses if it comes to power. But where is the money to buy so many locks? Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, who is visiting America, was given a civic reception in New York. The event was organized by the Bangladeshi Americans’ Alliance on Sunday (October 26) evening local time.
There, the Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer said that mothers give birth to children and then breastfeed them. At the same time, he is performing the duties of a professional. Referring to the injustice of the 8-hour working day for both men and women towards women, he said that mothers’ working hours will be reduced if in power.
The people of Bangladesh want to see a visible verdict on the July genocide before the current government’s term ends. The Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer also made similar comments. He said in his speech, “Whoever comes to power next will have to implement these rulings fairly.” In addition, the Jamaat Ameer said that investment opportunities in the country will increase if they come to power.
