Woman’s mutilated body found near Dhaka-Mawa Expressway, identity unknown
The fire service has recovered the mutilated body of a woman next to a railway underpass in the Sholaghar area of Srinagar on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway. On Monday (September 1), locals saw the body lying there around 8:30 am and informed the fire service. Later, Srinagar Fire Station staff recovered the body from the scene and handed it over to the Railway Police. Srinagar Fire Service Station Officer Dewan Azad Hossain said that it is believed that the body was mutilated by a train and was lying at the scene. However, the identity of the deceased woman has not been identified yet. Police said that efforts are underway to identify the body.
