All kinds of preparations are moving forward in the context of a festive, fair and acceptable election.’ He said this at the Secretariat after the meeting of the Advisory Committee on Law and Order on Monday (December 8). The Home Affairs Advisor said, ‘The preparations for the election are very good. All forces have continued their training, which will be completed by January. All kinds of measures are being taken for a fair and festive election.’ He said, ‘There will be body cameras of the law and order forces during the election. Uninterrupted power supply will be ensured at each center.’
He also said, ‘Murder and crime will not stop before the election. I do not have magic, I will say that the lights will be turned off and it will be done. That is not the case.’ Regarding the national party, the advisor said, ‘All political parties have now entered the field. “Many people don’t want to come out, they want to do politics at home. They have problems with their party offices,” he said, adding that strict orders have been issued to find those involved in the murder of a freedom fighter and his wife in Rangpur.
