What Pratyay Hiron said about Afridi’s arrest

On Sunday (August 24), a special operation was conducted from Barisal to arrest content creator Touhid Afridi, an accused in the July massacre case. Another content creator, Pratyay Hiron, posted a status on Facebook regarding his arrest. YouTuber and actor Pratyay Hiron wrote on his Facebook, ‘DB did not keep me inside for 32 days. Today, father and son are inside together.’ He also wrote, ‘Allah shows everyone their place at the end of the day.’ A murder case was recently filed at Jatrabari Police Station in the anti-discrimination student movement. A total of 25 people were named in this case and 150 unknown people were made accused. Among them, accused number 11 is Touhid Afridi. The main accused in this case is former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The second accused is former Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader and the third is former IGP of Police Abdullah Al Mamun. Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested Nasir Uddin Sathi, the father of accused number 22 in the case, and chairman of MyTV, on August 17. Meanwhile, two years ago, DB Police arrested popular YouTuber Pratyay Hiron and two of his associates on charges of promoting gambling in videos and dramas.
