What does Jamaat Ameer say about forming an alliance in the elections
Jamaat-e-Islami will not form an alliance in the upcoming parliamentary elections, said party Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. He said, ‘We have not decided to form an alliance, we will not form an alliance.’ He told reporters at Sylhet Osmani International Airport on Wednesday (November 5) morning.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, ‘We will hold elections with everyone in February 2026. If the elections are not held, then various kinds of chaos may arise.’ At this time, regarding the participation of Awami League in the elections, Jamaat Ameer said, there is no possibility of Awami League participating in the next elections.
Regarding the recent foreign tour, the Jamaat leader said, ‘I have met the expatriates abroad. The expatriates have come forward with the warmth and love of their hearts. I am overwhelmed by the love that is filled in their hearts.’ Referring to their sky-high expectations for the nation, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, ‘They also want to contribute to nation building. They have nothing to gain from this nation. They want a little respect.’
The Jamaat Ameer further said, ‘But we ourselves are witnesses, despite the immense contribution of the expatriates, we are still not able to show them due respect,’. It is noteworthy that Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will participate in separate organizational programs organized by the district and metropolitan Jamaat in Sylhet.
