Weapons used in attack on Hadi recovered from Narsingdi
RAB-11 has arrested a person along with the weapons used in the attack on Osman Hadi. This information was given in a press release sent by RAB-11 late on Tuesday (December 16) night. It is learned that 2 foreign pistols, 41 rounds of pistol bullets, 2 magazines and a toy pistol were recovered in the operation.
The release said that the name of the arrested person is Md. Faisal (25). He is the son of the deceased Aminul Haque. His permanent address is Shibpur of Bakerganj Police Station, Barisal. He currently lived in Hafez Mia’s house adjacent to Shapla Chattar of Narsingdi Model Police Station. Based on secret information, a team of RAB-11 conducted a raid in front of Molla’s house in Tarua area of Sadar Police Station in Narsingdi district. During the raid, the aforementioned firearms and bullets were recovered from the water.
RAB said that it has been initially confirmed that the recovered weapons were used in the attack on Osman Hadi. The operation is ongoing to identify and arrest others involved in the incident. The operation was conducted at around 11pm yesterday (December 16). RAB said that the process of taking legal action against the arrested person is underway.
