We must unite to establish democratic rights: Shamsul Alam says in Bakolia

Alhaj Md. Shamsul Alam, a member of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), participated in a meeting at 18 word in East Bakolia, Chittagong.
In the meeting, he discussed in detail the 31-point national program presented to the nation by BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarek Rahman. He said, “To restore democratic rights in the country and establish a people’s government, everyone must unite.”
Shamsul Alam also said, “The main goal of the 31-point declaration is to return state power to the people, establish accountability in the administration, and end corruption and repression.”
Local BNP leaders and activists and people from different professions participated in the meeting and raised the problems of the people of the area.
The meeting was presided over by Ali Azgar, member secretary of Ward 18 East Bakolia BNP, special guest former commissioner Alhaj Md. Tayyab, former president of Ward 33 Firingi Bazar BNP Akhter Khan. Also present were Ward BNP Convening Committee Joint Secretary Haji Mohammad Harun, Joint Secretary Md. Abdul Aziz, Convening Committee Member Mohammad Alamgir, Siraj Company, Abdul Mannan, Advocate Shahed, Amir Hossain Sawdagar, Furniture Committee President Mujibur Rahman and General Secretary Md. Sumon, Md. Abu, Md. Lokman, Md. Chagir, Jane Alam Rajamia, and Jubo Dal leaders Omar Faruk, Saiful, Sanaullah, Sajjad, Liton, Hasan, Yunus, Sekandar Osman, Zia, Jamal, Farid, Azmain. Women’s Party leader Kamrunnesa Mohila, Chhatra Dal leader Asif and others were present.
