Under the influence of active monsoon winds, circulating clouds are forming in the North Bay of Bengal. Due to this, gusty or squally winds may blow over the North Bay of Bengal, coastal areas of Bangladesh and seaports. In this situation, the Meteorological Office has maintained warning signal number 3 in all seaports of the country. This information was given in a warning issued by the Meteorological Office on Thursday (August 21). The warning stated that the seaports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been asked to display local warning signal number 3. Fishing boats and trawlers in the North Bay of Bengal have been asked to approach the coast with caution until further notice.
