“Vote for the Dhaner Shish” – Shamsul Alam

Yesterday, Saturday (November 28, 2025), a mass outreach and leaflet distribution program was completed in Wards 17, 18 and 19 of Chittagong-9 constituency under the initiative of Baklia Police Station under the joint initiative of BNP and its affiliates. The main objective of this program is to implement the 31-point plan of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and to promote their policies and programs among the people.
The chief guest of the program, BNP Central Executive Committee member Alhaj Md. Shamsul Alam, said, “We all have to maintain unity and solidarity. We must encourage everyone to vote with the sheaf of rice symbol, so that patriot Tarique Rahman can become the next Prime Minister. This campaign is very important for the development of the country and the restoration of democracy.” He also said, “BNP has been working for the welfare of the people of the country. By standing by the people in each of our wards, the importance of the sheaf of rice will be further enhanced. We want the people to take the right decisions and move the country forward on the path of progress.”
City BNP members Nurul Alam Raju, A.K. Khan, former organizing secretary Md. Tayyab, city BNP leader Shahjahan Siraj, Baklia Thana BNP acting president M.I. Chowdhury Mamun, former president of ward 17 BNP Sekandar, former president of ward 33 BNP Akhter Khan, ward 17 BNP convener Imran and member secretary Mizan, ward 18 BNP member secretary Ali Azgar, ward 19 BNP convener A.T.M. Farid and member secretary Nazimur Rahman Nazim, general secretary of Chaktai Businessmen Association Rafiq Sawdagar were present at the leaflet distribution and mass communication.
In addition, Nagar Swechchhasebak Dal member M Hanif, Ward No. 17 Swechchhasebak Dal convener MH Chowdhury Bablu and member secretary Md. Faruk, Ward No. 18 Swechchhasebak Dal member secretary Md. Yunus, Ward No. 19 Swechchhasebak Dal member secretary Md. Jahangir and numerous leaders of Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal and Mahila Dal participated in this program. Efforts have been made to popularize Tarique Rahman and the paddy sheaf symbol among the common people through mass communication and distribution of leaflets in different wards. The leaders said that through the right decision in the next election, the people of the country will be able to show a new direction to the country’s leadership by voting for the paddy sheaf.
