US strikes Iranian schools again

Iran’s state news agency Mehr reported that a missile attack was carried out on a school in the Iranian city of Khomeini. The report said that the target of the attack was the Dr. Hafez Khomeini School. Several residential houses around the school were also damaged in the attack.
However, there were no immediate reports of casualties. Meanwhile, an investigation has been demanded into the US missile attack on a primary girls’ school in the southern Iranian city of Minab. At least 170 people were killed in the attack, most of them students. In addition, a horrific attack was carried out on a residential area in eastern Tehran on Monday (March 9). Authorities said that at least 40 Iranians were killed in the attack.
Al Jazeera journalists heard a loud explosion in the Iranian capital Tehran a short while ago. However, details about the target of the attack and the damage are not yet known. The situation remained the same throughout yesterday, with several explosions occurring every hour or two. Other major cities, including Isfahan, were also targeted yesterday. Concerns are growing over attacks near Isfahan’s nuclear facility. There have also been reports of attacks on the governor’s office.
