US returns empty-handed from Islamabad: Iran

Several rounds of talks have been held in 21 hours. There has been no result. Both Iran and the US are adamant on their respective decisions. Tehran says they will not make any concessions on national issues, but will seek military and diplomatic solutions if necessary. The US is unhappy that its demands have not been met. However, Iran claims that the US is returning empty-handed after traveling halfway around the world. The country’s media reported that any progress will be possible only if Washington withdraws from what Tehran calls “unreasonable demands”.
The Iranian embassy in Ghana’s X (formerly Twitter) post said that the US has traveled halfway around the world to bring its vice president to Islamabad. The talks lasted for 21 hours. They demanded everything they could not achieve in the war. Iran has clearly said a big ‘no’. The talks are over. The corridor is still closed. And the vice president is returning empty-handed. Once again, only Iran is left. They have no way to save face.
Meanwhile, despite the long talks, the representatives of the two countries are returning without any peace or compromise agreement. However, Iran claims that the US was looking for an excuse to walk out of the talks. The country’s Fars News reported this information, citing sources in the Iranian delegation.
According to the report, the meeting failed due to differences between the representatives of the two countries on various issues, including the Strait of Hormuz and the nuclear project. The US sat in the meeting to save face after being defeated on the battlefield. It wanted to get what it could not achieve by attacking the negotiating table.
They also called the US demands excessive. They said that Washington had made ambitious conditions on various issues, including the Strait of Hormuz and the nuclear program, which Tehran rejected. Some representatives of the Tehran negotiating team also said that they had no plans to talk to the US.
