UP member dies in the clutches of an ignorant party

A person who fell ill in the clutches of an ignorant party in a local bus bound for Daulatdia in Goalanda, Rajbari, leaving from Kushtia, has died. He was admitted to the Goalanda Upazila Health Complex in a serious condition and died while undergoing treatment. The person’s name is Ranju Khan. He is a UP member of Ward No. 2 of Habaspur Union.
According to police sources, an unknown person left for Daulatdia Ghat from the Chaurhas More area of ​​Kushtia on a local bus at around 8:30 am yesterday (January 3). On the way, he suddenly fell ill inside the bus. On sensing this, the bus passengers took him to the Goalanda Upazila Health Complex.
After taking him to the hospital, the doctor on duty started primary treatment. However, the person’s condition deteriorated and he died shortly after. The doctors believe that some clique of the ignorant party may have drugged him and looted everything he had. Goalanda Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md. Rashidul Islam confirmed the matter and said, “The incident is being viewed seriously. We are investigating whether it was the work of an ignorant party.”
