    United Nations Human Rights Office will be in Dhaka: Adviser Sharmin

    Interim Government Social Welfare Adviser Sharmin S. Murshid said that the opening of the United Nations Human Rights Commission office in Dhaka has been discussed.

    The social welfare adviser said, ‘An office of the United Nations Human Rights Council will be opened. If it is launched, the Human Rights Council will be able to directly investigate the areas of human rights violations.

    Sharmin Murshid also said, ‘The opening of the office of the United Nations Human Rights Commission in Dhaka has been discussed. The government is looking at the matter positively to protect the human rights of the people of Bangladesh.
