Ultimatum until November 11, then the image of Dhaka will change: Golam Parwar
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar has warned of strict action if the five-point demands are not met by November 11. He gave this warning while talking to media personnel after submitting a memorandum containing five-point demands to the chief advisor on Thursday (November 6).
Mia Golam Parwar said, ‘Today the weekly meeting was going on. From that meeting, on the instructions of the chief advisor, Industry Advisor Adilur Rahman met us. We had an open discussion with him. He was told the whole statement. Along with that, our demands were also told. Ultimatum until the 11th, if not met, then the image of Dhaka will be different.’
Informing about the discussion, he said, ‘A huge rally has been organized in Dhaka on the 11th. Before that, we would like to remind the government again – before being burdened with the burden of millions of people in this great rally, accept these 5-point demands and show respect for the aspirations of the people of the July Charter. Otherwise, the picture of the capital Dhaka on the 11th will be different, InshaAllah.’ Earlier, around noon, an 8-member delegation led by Mia Golam Parwar went to the residence of the Chief Advisor in Jamuna and submitted a memorandum containing 5-point demands. At that time, Industries and Housing and Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman accepted the memorandum on behalf of the Chief Advisor.
