UITS Law Department Orientation

The Law Department of the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) successfully organized the Spring 2026 Orientation Program. The program became a symbol of a joyful and inspiring beginning for the new students.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Md. Chibgatullah Moin, which created a calm and serene atmosphere throughout the program.
Then the Honorable Registrar of UITS delivered the welcome speech. He warmly welcomed the new students and wished them all the success in their academic and professional lives.
Later, the Head of the Law Department, Dr. Md. Sohel Rana, delivered a cheerful and inspiring speech. He urged the students to pursue their educational career with dedication, discipline and confidence.
On behalf of the new students, Israt Jahan Yati expressed her feelings about the orientation program and expressed gratitude and excitement for this beautiful arrangement.
Then, UITS 51st batch Mooting Star, Kazi Jobair Bappi, highlighted his inspiring Mooting journey and achievements. He encouraged the students to actively participate in Mooting and other co-curricular activities along with their studies.
In his speech, UITS Law Club General Secretary, Md. Main-ur-Rashid, highlighted the importance of teamwork, leadership and active participation in the Law Club.


Then, UITS Law Club Vice President, Md. Raihan Mirza Ramya, gave an important and inspiring talk on Mooting. He warmly welcomed the new students and urged them to develop themselves through Mooting, advocacy and practical learning.
Advocate Md. Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan, Legal Advisor of UITS and Honorable Professor of Law, delivered a powerful and inspiring speech. He laid special emphasis on maintaining ethics, integrity and professionalism of future lawyers.
Honorable Treasurer of UITS, Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, in his speech, highlighted the importance of responsibility, discipline and commitment to education.
Honorable Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Dr. M. Rabiul Hossain, shared his valuable experience and imparted important life lessons to the students.
President of UITS Law Alumni Association, Advocate Md. Abzal Hossain Mridha, warmly welcomed the new students and assured them of being by their side in any future need. Also present was Md. Imran Hossain, General Secretary of UITS Law Alumni Association.
The closing address of the event was delivered by the Honorable Vice Chancellor of UITS, Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan. His lively and influential speech made the entire event more meaningful.
The entire event was skillfully conducted by Md. Nadim Mondal of the 55th batch, whose fluent presentation added a special dimension to the event.
Finally, the 55th batch warmly welcomed the new students with flowers and advice, which made the entire event more memorable.
