UITS CSE students visit industry

A group of final year students of the CSE department of the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) completed a successful industry visit to Bdcalling IT Limited on Sunday (18 January 2026). The visit was organized as part of the recent MoU signed between the Department of CSE, UITS and Bdcalling IT Limited.
During the visit, the students got a chance to closely observe the activities of various teams of the organization, including Softvence Agency. They gained practical experience in mobile app and web development, UI/UX design, client project management and real-world workflow. In addition, important discussions were held on current industry trends, tools used and career preparation through interaction with developers and team members.

The students were accompanied by the Head of Department and Associate Professor of UITS CSE Department, Mr. Al-Imtiaz and Lecturer Md. Tasneen Tanvir. On behalf of Bdcalling IT Limited, the students and teachers were welcomed by Mr. Roni Saha, AGM, Bdcalling IT Limited.
The industry visit last Sunday is being considered as the first successful and promising step in a long-term academia-industry collaboration. Those concerned expressed optimism that this experience will play an important role in preparing the students for the real world of work.
