Two people, including a child, have died of dengue, a disease transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes, in the last 24 hours. In addition, 337 more people have been admitted to the hospital with dengue fever during this period. This information was given in a report sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday (July 10). Of the two who died, the boy is between 6 and 10 years old. The other woman is between 16 and 20 years old. The report said that from 8 am on Wednesday to 8 am on Thursday, the highest number of dengue patients, 101, were admitted to hospitals in Barisal. In addition, 76 people were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka Metropolitan City, 58 in Chittagong Division (excluding City Corporation), 41 in Dhaka Division, 28 in Khulna Division, 27 in Rajshahi Division, 5 in Mymensingh Division and one in Sylhet Division. So far this year, 54 people have died of dengue. Among the dead, 29 were men and 25 were women. 13,931 people have been hospitalized.
