Two murders in Khulna court premises, no case filed yet
No case has been filed till today (December 1) morning in the case of shooting and hacking to death of two people in front of the main gate of Khulna court. Even after 20 hours have passed since the incident, the police have not been able to arrest anyone. Police said that the autopsy of the two bodies will be handed over to the families today.
Yesterday, Sunday (November 30), at around 12:15 pm, miscreants shot and hacked to death two people named Hasib Howlader and Md. Fazle Rabbi Rajan in front of the main gate of the Khulna Metropolitan Sessions Judge and District Sessions Judge Court.
The relatives of the deceased said that they had come to the court to appear in the arms case. After appearing in the court, Hasib and Rajan were standing in front of the court gate to have tea on their motorcycles. At that time, four to five miscreants came forward and opened fire on them. When they fell to the ground after being shot, the miscreants hacked them with machetes and fled. The injured were rescued in critical condition and taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
Meanwhile, miscreants shot a man named Kazi Samrat at Taher Dorjir Mor area of Jinnah Para under Luanchhara Police Station at around 9 pm yesterday. He was later admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital. The serial killings and attempted murders in Khulna have spread panic among the city residents.
