The two men who opened fire from a motorcycle at Inqilab Manch spokesperson and potential MP candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency Sharif Osman Hadi attended a public relations event with him yesterday afternoon. The country’s digital investigative news outlet The Descent has confirmed this after analyzing CCTV footage obtained from the police and two photos obtained from Osman Hadi’s public relations team.
The Descent reported that the two men who opened fire from a bike attended a public relations event with the masked Hadi in the Motijheel Wapda Madrasa (Jamia Darul Uloom Motijheel) area of the capital on Friday (December 12) afternoon. One of the two gunmen was wearing a black Punjabi, a black mask, a shawl around his neck and light blue pants. The other was wearing a black blazer, black mask, glasses and leather-colored shoes.
The clothes of the two bikers who attacked the two people participating in the public relations event are similar to the clothes of the two people. Osman Hadi was shot in Bijoynagar in the capital after Friday prayers. He was immediately taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College (DMCH). According to the latest information, Hadi is undergoing surgery at Dhaka Medical College. He was shot in the head with a bullet.
