Two killed in two separate road accidents in Rajbari
A pedestrian named Makched Mandal (Muchai) was tragically killed after being hit by a private car at Idara intersection in Habaspur union of Pangsha upazila of Rajbari. The deceased Makched Mandal is the son of the deceased Basrat Mandal of Udaypur village of Jashai union. According to local sources, a speeding private car hit him while he was crossing the road at Idara intersection on Saturday (December 27) at 6:20 pm. Locals rescued him in serious condition and tried to take him to a nearby hospital, but he died on the way.
On the other hand, Linab Hasan Shanto (22) of Banibah area of Rajbari Sadar upazila was killed in a motorcycle accident in Notun Bazar area of Rajbari. He met with an accident while riding his motorcycle in that area yesterday. When locals took him to the hospital in serious condition, the doctor on duty declared him dead. Officer-in-charge of Ahladipur Highway Police Station and Pangsha Police Station confirmed the matter.
