Two killed in road accident in Hazaribagh

Two people were killed and three injured in a road accident in Jatrabari, the capital. The incident took place on Sunday (February 22) morning when a speeding bus hit a passenger Laguna in Mir Hazaribagh Ghuntighar area. The deceased were identified as Azizul Islam (58), Saiful Islam (55). The injured were identified as Shafi (22), Akash (35) and the driver of the Laguna, Raju (28).
Jatrabari Police Station OC Mohammad Raju told Jugantor that five people were seriously injured when a speeding bus hit a passenger Laguna in Mir Hazaribagh Ghuntighar area. Locals rescued them and took them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared two of them dead. The remaining three are undergoing treatment at the hospital. The bus driver, Swadhin, has been arrested in this incident. The bodies of the deceased have been kept at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
