Two killed in head-on collision of two buses in Bhaluka, Mymensingh
Two people were killed in a head-on collision of two buses in Bhaluka, Mymensingh. At least 10 people were injured in the accident. The accident took place in Bhardoba of the upazila on Saturday (September 13) morning. Police said that renovation work was going on in front of Tasrif Cotton Mill on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, where the accident occurred. As a result, vehicles were plying in one lane. Two buses of Dhaka-bound Shyamoli and Ayan Paribahan collided head-on at around 8 am. Two died on the spot. However, the police have not yet been able to identify them. Ten seriously injured people have been rescued and taken to the hospital. The two buses involved in the accident have been seized and taken to the police station.
