Two killed in Bhootbhuti-truck collision in Rajshahi

Two people were killed in a collision between a Bhootbhuti and a sand truck in Puthia, Rajshahi. The accident occurred on Taherpur Road in the upazila around 8:30 am today, Tuesday (February 10). Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Puthia Police Station Faridul Islam confirmed the matter. He said that a sand truck was going from Puthia towards Taherpur. At that time, the truck collided head-on with a Bhootbhuti coming from the opposite direction.
The two seriously injured were taken to the Puthia Upazila Health Complex. However, the on-duty doctor declared both of them dead. The names of the two deceased are Nahim and Hamim. They are chicken traders from the Highgram area of ​​Rajshahi city. Both of them had come to Puthia upazila from Rajshahi city to buy chicken. After the accident, local people from the scene arrested the truck driver and handed him over to the police. The police also said that legal action will be taken if the families of the deceased file a case in this incident.
