Two brothers killed in rival attack in Moulvibazar

Two brothers were killed in a rival attack in Moulvibazar’s Barolekha upazila over a previous dispute. The incident took place in the BOC Math Gudam area of ​​the upazila on Saturday (December 27) evening. The deceased were Jamal Uddin, a Kuwaiti expatriate, and his younger brother Qayyum.
Police said that farmer Abdul Qayyum had a long-standing dispute with his neighbor Zamir Uddin. Qayyum was an accused in the murder case of Zamir’s nephew Jalal Uddin, which was killed a few years ago. Yesterday evening, Zamir Uddin and a few others went to his house to hand over Qayyum to the police. At that time, a fight broke out between the two sides. At one point, Qayyum and his elder brother Jamal Uddin, who is a Kuwaiti expatriate, were killed on the spot in the opponent’s attack. Several people, including the opponent Zamir Uddin, were injured in the incident.
Police also said that the injured have been rescued and sent to the hospital. Legal action is being taken in this incident.
